The Lodge

The Lodge at Porthpean is a delightful self-catering cottage nestling in the private estate of the beautiful, rambling Porthpean House. With private access and  a separate garden, set in a tranquil position on the sheltered south coast of Cornwall The Lodge was completely refurbished in 2017.  It is just a stone’s throw from sandy Porthpean Beach (150 metres) – which is perfect for a bucket and spade holiday with rock pools, calm waters and warm shallows for swimming.

Sleeping 6 comfortably, this cosy seaside retreat with private garden and parking has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor, including 2 double/twin rooms, (Bedroom 1 has en-suite basin and loo) and a bunk room perfect for children to sleep soundly after a day spent crabbing on the beach. There are sea views from the main bedroom, bunk room and bathroom. Downstairs the open plan, newly fitted kitchen/diner is perfect for a relaxed family breakfast; or you can hide away in the snug, relaxing peacefully after a long coastal walk. The downstairs wet room and utility area mean you can leave the sand outside…...

For children over 6 and all adults Porthpean Outdoor Activities centre run tailor made kayaking, canoeing, rock climbing, snorkelling or general sea activities days from Porthpean Beach.
