Directions: Porthpean House, Porthpean, St Austell PL26 6AX.
From the M5 at Exeter follow the A30 bypassing Okehampton, Launceston and Bodmin.
About five miles beyond Bodmin at the major Innis Downs junction turn left following the signs for the A391 to St.Austell.
Pass through Bugle and Stenalees and at the roundabout at the top of the hill, turn left and continue to follow the A391 to St Austell. At the next double roundabout, turn right still on the A391, and carry straight over the next four roundabouts to the bottom of the hill.
At the traffic lights by the T-junction, turn right signposted Truro and St Austell on the A390. Continue straight on through three sets of traffic lights, passing Tesco on your right, and go under the railway bridge to the Mount Charles roundabout. Take the 2nd exit to Truro and Newquay on the A390.
At the first set of traffic lights turn left into Porthpean Road signed to Porthpean and Mount Edgcumbe Hospice. Follow the road for 600m passing St Austell community hospital and then turn left into Porthpean Beach Road.
After approximately half a mile, down near the bottom of the hill (be careful, the road is extremely narrow), you get to a large, green gate on the left which will be open. This is Porthpean House.
If you get to a car park on the right, you have gone too far.
If you are having a wedding party please speak to us and we will arrange parking in the Beach Car Park.
